Jesus was well spoken. He used gracious words.

Luke 4: 22 “And all bare him witness and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth.”

We live in a time of relaxed standards. We are often careless with our words. Our popular culture includes all manner of profane speech. There are even popular movements embracing incorrect grammar. When we follow Jesus’ example we will be careful with our words. We will use words that are correct and have grace. We will avoid profanity and use language to the best of our ability. We might even go so far as to try to improve our language skills.
